Riverside Community Credit Union is committed to making available
financial products and services that will enable you to meet
your financial needs and reach your financial goals. Protecting
personal information and using it in a manner consistent with
your expectations is a high priority for everyone associated
with our credit union.
As a member of Riverside Community Credit Union, you also
have a responsibility to safeguard your financial information.
To ensure that you can rely upon the quality of products and
services we make available, Riverside Community Credit Union
stands behind the following privacy policy:
Riverside Community Credit Union will collect only the personal
information that is necessary to conduct our business. That
means just what is necessary to provide competitive financial
products and services--no more.
Riverside Community Credit Union will protect your personal
information. Our credit union will maintain strong security
controls to ensure that member information in our files and
computers is protected. Where appropriate, we will use security-coding
techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal
records, ensure accuracy and integrity of communications and
transactions, and project member confidentiality.
You will always have access to your information. As a member
of Riverside Community Credit Union, you will always have
the opportunity to review your information and make necessary
changes to ensure that our records are complete and accurate.
Riverside Community Credit Union will only share information
when absolutely necessary. We will only share information
to administer the products and services we provide, when required
to do so by the government, or when we partner with other
businesses to offer a broader array of products and services.
Riverside Community Credit Union will partner only with business
that follow strict confidentiality requirements. The businesses
we select will offer products designed to enhance our members'
economic well being. Under no circumstances will we authorize
these firms to charge your account without your express consent,
and we will not sell member information to telemarketing firms.
Riverside Community Credit Union will offer you a choice
in how your information is used. Any member of our credit
union may elect to keep their information from being shared
with our business partners. We will inform you on how to exercise
your choice, and we will take all reasonable steps to make
sure your requests are followed. At least, once a year, we
will remind all members of your right to choose.
RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION PRIVACY NOTICE
At Riverside Community Credit Union, your privacy is a top
priority. This notice describes how we protect the privacy
of your personal information and gives you the opportunity
to let us know if you do not want certain information about
you disclosed to other parties. Throughout this notice, the
word "information" refers to personal information about you
that may not be publicly available.
Information That We Collect and Disclose to Others
We collect information about you from the following sources:
- Applications and other forms you submit to us.
- Information about your transactions with us.
- Information about your transactions with others.
- Consumer reporting agencies.
- We may disclose all the information that we collect as
described above.
Parties to Whom We Disclose the Information
We may disclose information about you to the following types
of third parties:
- Financial service providers, such as those that provide
credit card, debit card, and insurance services.
- Non-financial companies, such as those who provide check
printing services or government agencies.
- We may disclose all the information we collect, as described
above, to companies that perform marketing services on our
behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have
joint marketing agreements. We may also disclose information
about you under other circumstances, as permitted or required
by law.
If you decide to terminate your membership with Riverside
Community Credit Union or become an inactive member, we will
not share information we have collected about you, except
as may be permitted or required by law.
How We Protect Your Information
Riverside Community Credit Union restricts access to information
about you to those employees who need to know that information
to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal
regulations to guard your information.
How to Opt Out of Certain Disclosures of Information
About You
If you prefer that we not disclose information about you to
parties that are not affiliated with Riverside Community Credit
Union, you may "opt out" of these disclosures. That is, you
may direct us not to make those disclosures. This "opt out"
will not apply to disclosures that are required by law and
will not apply to disclosures to companies that perform marketing
services on our behalf or to other financial institutions
with whom we have joint marketing agreements. If you wish
to opt out of disclosures to parties that are not affiliated
with Riverside Community Credit Union, exercise your right
by completing the enclosed form.
No action is necessary if you do not wish to opt out.
If you prefer that Riverside Community Credit Union does not
disclose certain personal information, to a third party, you
should complete the OPT OUT NOTICE located below and return
it to us. Please allow 30 days from our receipt for your request
to be processed. Your request will remain in effect until
you notify us otherwise in writing.

Statement and Privacy Notice and understand it's content.
I hereby exercise my right to "OPT OUT" of Disclosures made
to parties that are not affiliated with Riverside Community
Credit Union.
